Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause,and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITHOUT appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 2026
The following described property, to wit:
A certain lot of ground, with all buildings and improvements, and all rights, ways, privileges, and servitudes thereto appertaining, situated within the corporate limits of the City of New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana, measuring 29 feet 3 inches on the West side of Rosalie Street, by a depth between parallel lines of 66 feet; being bounded on the North by property of Lynn L. Landry; on the South by property of Lynn L. Landry; on the East by Rosalie Street; and on the West by property of Kramer or assigns; the Southeast corner of said lot is situated North of Hopkins Street, 178 feet 10 inches from the North side of the sidewall.
Together with all the buildings and improvements thereon including one (1) certain 2004 S12 Sizzler manufactured home, bearing Serial Number: GMHGA44901151AB, which manufactured home was immobilized pursuant to La. R.S. 9:1149.4 by Declaration of Immobilization dated January 19, 2004, and recorded in the official records of Iberia Parish, Louisiana, as Entry Number. 2004-00925.
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND, FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND 60/100 ($35,044.60) plus interest at the rate of 3.125 percent per annum from April 1, 2025, until paid and reasonable attorney fees. And all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
