NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NORTH CAMPUS MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING RENOVATIONS

Sealed bids will be received by the Iberia Medical Center at any time or day prior to, but not later than 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 for the above listed general building construction work.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 at the proposed jobsite at the North Campus Medical Office Building, Iberia Medical Center, 520 North Lewis Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70563. Representatives of the Owner and Architect will be present to discuss the project. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in the conference.

Bids may be mailed or delivered to the Iberia Medical Center – Main Campus, Attention: Jacob Freyou, 2315 East Main Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560 or delivered between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on any working day prior to the bid opening.

All bids, with a properly executed envelope, will be opened and read at 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 in the Classroom A at Iberia Medical Center – Main Campus, 2315 East Main Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560.

A digital copy of the official bid documents may be obtained by calling the office of Paul J. Allain, Architect APAC at 337-365-9493 for a charge of $150.00, which is refundable after the bid opening with a bona fide bid within 10 days of bid date, in accordance with the Louisiana Public Bid Law and upon the return of complete, undamaged plans and specifications within ten (10) days following the opening of the bids. Digital bid documents will be on a compact disc. No hard copy sets of bid documents will be provided for bidding and/or construction.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security (certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond with power of attorney for an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. Money orders and/or company checks will not be acceptable. Such security will be no less than 5% of the net amount bid, excluding taxes.

Once the NOTICE TO PROCEED is issued, the project must be substantially completed in 6 MONTHS. Rain delay days will NOT be accepted. Liquidated damages are $250.00 per calendar day.

All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder’s name, address, and state license number and must be addressed as follows:
