Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITH appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2026
The following described property, to wit:
That certain lot of ground, situated in the City of New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana, designated as LOT 19 of BLOCK E of CAROLINE SUBDIVISION, as shown on a map made by W. K. Frantz, Jr., C. E., dated October 1955 and recorded in Miscellaneous Book 9, folio 83, Entry No 3134 of the records of Iberia Parish, Louisiana, said lot having a front of Seventy-five (75’) feet on the east side of Caroline Street by a depth between parallel lines of One Hundred Fifty (150’) feet, and being bounded on the North by Lot 18 of Block E of Caroline Subdivision, on the South by Lot 20, on the East by Lot 7 and on the West by Caroline Street
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE DOLLARS AND 64/100 ($59,851.64), with interest thereon at the rate of 4.375% per annum from March 1, 2024, together with accrued late charges in the amount of $115.56 in accordance with the note and mortgage, reasonable attorney’s fees. And all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
