Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITHOUT appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 2026
The following described property, to-wit:
Lots 3,4,5 and 6, Block I, Versailles Gardens Subdivision, as shown by plat of survey prepared by C.K. Langlinais, Registered Land Survey, dated April 29,1954, a copy of which was filed for record April 29,1954 in Misc. Book 8, Folio 402, Entry No.3016, records of Iberia Parish, Louisiana and the dwelling situated thereon bears Municipal No. 1302 Versailles Crescent, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560
Being those certain lots of ground, with their component parts, together with all right, ways, privileges, servitudes and
appurtenances thereunto appertaining, situated in Section 40 and/or 41, T 12 S, R 6 E, Ward 5-N, Iberia Parish, Louisiana, within the corporate limits of the City of New Iberia, fronting, as a whole, 100 feet on the side of Versailles Crescent by a depth between equal and parallel lines of 122 Feet, Bounded, as a whole, northerly by property of Carstens, or assigns, southerly by said Versailles Crescent, easterly by Lot 2, Block I, Versailles Gardens Subdivision, and westerly by Lot 7, Block I, Versailles Gardens Subdivision (“Property”).
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
EIGHTY-SIX THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND 22/100 ($86,674.22) as of March 4, 2026 with interest thereon at 5.000% per annum, until paid; reasonable attorney’s fees. And all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
