Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITH appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 2026
The following described property, to-wit:
That certain lot or parcel of ground, together with all buildings and improvements thereon, and all rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging and all appurtenances thereof, being known and designated as Lot One (1), Block Three (3) of East Side Estates Subdivision, Phase I, a subdivision of the Parish of Lafayette, Louisiana, said lot having such shape, form, dimensions, boundaries and measurements as are more fully shown on that certain plat of survey prepared by G.K. Pratt Munson, dated February 16, 2001, last revised June 18, 2001, attached to that certain Act recorded under COB 1232, Folio 755, File Number 2002-1633 of the records of Iberia Parish Clerk of Court, which play of survey is made part hereof by reference thereto.
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE DOLLARS AND 12/100($ 255,179.12) Interest* from December 1, 2022, until paid, at 3.625% per annum. Reasonable attorney’s fees in an uncontested foreclosure, through the conclusion of the foreclosure and all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
