Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITHOUT appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2026
The following described property, to-wit:
A certain lot of ground together with all buildings and improvements thereon and thereunto belonging, with all rights, ways, privileges and servitudes thereto appertaining, situated in the City of New Iberia, Parish of Iberia, Louisiana, measuring Fifty (50) feet front of the Southerly side of Hacker Street by a depth between parallel lines of One Hundred Fifty (150) feet; bounded Northerly by Hacker Street; Southerly formerly by Pellerin, now by Bertin or assigns; Easterly formerly by Segura, now Laperouse; Westerly formerly by J.S. Brown, now Harold Aubry.
Being the same property acquired by Euceville Frederick Comeaux, Jr. and Emi Noda Comeaux by that certain act of Cash Sale dated August 6,1959 and recorded in the public records of Iberia Parish, Louisiana under file entry number 113216.
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
SIXTY-THREE THOUSAND, FIFTY DOLLARS AND 90/100 ($63,050.90) with 6.300% interest thereon from February 1, 2025,until paid, reasonable attorney’s fees. And all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
