Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITHOUT appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2026
The following described property, to-wit:
That certain tract or parcel of land, together with all component parts thereon, lying and being situated in Section 44, Township 13 South, Range 8 East, in the Town of Jeanerette, Iberia Parish, Louisiana, measuring 50 feet on Church Street or its western line, by a depth on its northern line of 115.4 feet, on its eastern line of 49.4 feet and on its southern line of 123.6 feet and bounded northerly by Laperouse Street, easterly by Alpha Leblanc or assigns, southerly by Lawless Landry or assigns, and westerly by Church Street, all as shown on LA21118 a survey by G.K. Pratt Munson, dated January 4, 1994, revised January 7,1994 and recorded in Iberia Parish COB 1066, Page 542, File No. 1994-224.
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
EIGHTY-FOUR THOUSAND, SEVENTEEN DOLLARS AND 52/100 ($84,017.52) in principal, with interest thereon at 2.500% per annum from June 1, 2024, until paid in full, reasonable attorney’s fees. And all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
