THE UNOPENED SUCCESSION OF GEORGIANA GOLECKI, DECEASED AND MICHAEL B GOLECKI
Notice is hereby given that by virtue of SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed Thomas S. Romero Sheriff, duly sworn and qualified in and for the Parish of Iberia, La., have seized, and will offer for sale and will sell at public auction, for cash WITH appraisal, to the last and highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, in the City of New Iberia, La., between legal sale hours starting at 10 a.m. on
WEDNESDAY,
SEPTEMBER 23, 2026
The following described property, to-wit:
That certain lot or parcel of ground, together with all improvements thereon and all the rights, ways, privileges and servitudes thereto pertaining, being known and designated as LOT 13 of BLOCK 3, Northland Estates Subdivision, a subdivision of Iberia Parish, Louisiana, as shown on that certain plat of survey dated March 30, 1979, prepared by R.B. Marie, recorded under Act No. 5136 in Miscellaneous Book 13, Folio 352 of the records of Iberia Parish, Louisiana, and made a part hereof by reference thereto, and having such dimensions, measurements and boundaries as are more fully shown on said plat of survey.
To pay and satisfy the sum of:
NINETY-TWO THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND 98/100 ($92,958.98) with 6.3750% interest thereon from September 1,2025, until paid, reasonable attorney’s fees and all costs of these proceedings.
ALL SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS MUST HAVE CASH (CASH PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER’S CHECK), CASHIER’S CHECK OR A VERIFIABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN FAVOR OF SAID BIDDER FROM A SOLVENT BANK, SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OR OTHER SUCH FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA AND FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE ON DATE OF SALE.
